Azithromycin is the generic name for various medicines, one famous name being Zithromax. It belongs to a group of medicines called macrolide antibiotics.

How to take azithromycin?

The course for the tablets and liquid suspension extends from 1-5 days until you can see proper results. To reduce the chances of missing a dose, it is recommended to take Azithromycin at the same time each day.
